E-portfolios have three aspects.
- the working or process portfolio, which contains projects the student is currently working on or has recently completed. It will contain feedback and next steps for learning
- the display or showcase portfolio, which showcases samples of the student's best work.
- the assessment or accountability portfolio, which presents work demonstrating that the student has met specific learning goals and requirements.
The purpose and ownership of the e-portfolio will influence the decision on the platform for the e-portfolio.
